.Between 1st and 9th July 2022 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the club, 9 Ayr Roads members took on the challenge of cycling from Lands End to John O' Groats. Covering just over 900 miles and over 50,000 feet of climbing. In doing so, members have raised £4311 split between 2 charities: Cash for Kids and Help for Heroes. Welcome to the official website of the Ayr Roads Cycling Club, one of the most active cycling clubs in the West of Scotland. Established in 1930, members enjoy all aspects of cycle sport, from road racing, time trialing and cyclocross to MTB.
Our membership includes former regional, national and UCI medallists, although we warmly welcome cyclists of all ages and abilities.

Weekly Rides:
Multiple training rides throughout the week. Fast paced with riders grouped to suit abilities. Usually organised within the club Whatsapp group. Send us a message for more details.Thursday (April - September) 6.45pm Loans, 10 mile Time Trial (members only, for insurance purposes) helmet and rear light required. Road bikes can be used.
Saturday 9.30am Training pace group ride of around 40 miles. Routes vary - members should check WhatsApp group for details.
Sunday 9.00am Beresford Terrace - Sunday Social Club Run 2-5 hours with alternative shorter routes available (all welcome).
